Tamarack Habilitation Technologies, Inc. announced the launch of the Tamarack Prosthetic Sleeve Protector (PSP), a new product designed to protect below-knee prosthetic suspension sleeves from premature failure. The PSP also significantly reduces abrasion, improving comfort for amputees who rely on suspension socket systems.
Built on Tamarack's patented ultra-low friction GlideWear fabric technology, the PSP is designed to be worn under a vacuum suspension sleeve in areas exposed to high friction and abrasion, typically at the socket brim. The product helps reduce wear that often leads to user discomfort and shortened suspension sleeve life caused by punctures, tears, and other issues.
